At the 2010  GA. State KofC Annual Convention held in Augusta, GA on May 14-16 our Council received two major awards.

The first was in the Church Activity Category when we hosted the "Archdiocese Institution To Reader Acolyte" candidate program. There were approximately 230 in attendance, comprised of Priests, Deacons and Laity. After the ceremony food and refreshments were served by Brother Knights and members of the Parish Women's Guild with which the council coordinated.

The second award was in the Pro Life category for the Council presentation of a Baptismal Cross and Prayer Card to the parents of the newly baptized children of our parish. Since the inception of this program on July 2008 our council has presented 54 special crosses to parish families.
