Our Council along with Newnan, Peachtree City and Tyrone Councils contributed money to pay for the purchase and delivery of the first Council sponsored ultrasound machine delivered outside of State of Georgia.

The purchase of the ultrasound machine was made possible with matching funds from our Supreme Council's program "Ultrasound Initiatve".

The idea was spearheaded by Brother Mike Midas and his vision of sending an ultrasound machine to Missionaries of the Poor, Holy Innocent Center in Jamaica. Brother Mike realized his goal with the delivery of the machine on March 21, 2011.
